Rev. Liz answered the call to ministry after a fulfilling career as a hospital-based clinical dietitian, where she learned to nourish both body and spirit through compassionate, evidence-based care. A graduate of Emmanuel College with a Master of Divinity, she is a creative liturgist and preacher—often with a touch of humour—who bridges God’s word in scripture to the pulse of modern life, crafting worship experiences and sermons that resonate with today’s joys, struggles, and questions—helping congregations discover God’s living word in the here and now.
A proud resident of Toronto, Rev. Liz thrives on the city’s vibrant energy, and finds spiritual renewal through connecting with our Creator during bike rides and walks in the quiet beauty of the many parks and along the waterfront.
Parkwoods United Church is about many things, but essentially, it is about its people and what they do for the Glory of God. There is always that sense of “family”, with outreach in the local community and beyond.
